Adding width and height makes slideshow not visible

I added
<?php meteor_slideshow('home-slideshow', 'width: 476 height: 270'); ?>the width and height part to the previous code, but that makes the slideshow not work. I can see it in the markup, but it doesn’t appear or cycle. Thoughts?
