Adding wrong answer text in bulk

are you asking how to set these with the bulk CSV import? Or are these questions already added to your site and you want to update them all at once? If so, do you want to update only for a single quiz, or for all questions on your site?

I guess I may need help with both the cases, because I have uploaded quite a number of questions that don’t have that text and I am planning to adding more questions too,

The CSV is super easy. By default, the CSV goes from Column A (quiz name) to column M (the correct answer position). But there is a secret – column N is where you can add the extra text. This isn’t something that is advertised, since the Extra Text input can accept things like formatting and images etc – which obviously cannot be added via CSV. But as long as the text you want to add is plain text, it should work without issue.

Updating existing questions is much harder. How comfortable are you with adding custom PHP to your site? I can write a function that will loop through all of your questions and set the extra text to whatever you want.

Just to confirm if I add any text in the coulmn N does it do to the “text that appears if the person gets the answers wrong” right?

That’s right. You may want to upload a single question just to confirm I have the right column, but I’m 99.9% sure that this is what you are looking for.
