Adding Youtube / TED video on the post

I use the fspring theme. Great theme with professional look. I recently tried to add a TED video on it but then the theme appearance got distorted. see https://www.ask-nottell.com/wp-content/plugins/2007/09/bad.bmp.
The video frame got pulled to the left and the sidebar got pulled to the very right. ideally, i want the video to be like this
