Additional character is added in french language

    Hi there,

    There is some problem with some french caracters.

    As you can see in the image, there is always a “\” in front of the “‘” in the text displayed for the explanation.

    Is it possible to avoid this?

    Greetings from Webtoffee! We are here to assist.

    We have several French users for this plugin and none have reported any such issues so far. Chances are there are actually ‘\’ characters included in the text which could have been added if you translated from somewhere else and copied it. To verify, please go to GDPR Cookie Consent > Cookie Category > Click edit on the category and check the description text from the TEXT view.

    Please confirm that you have updated the plugin to the latest version 2.0.6. Once done, please go to the Cookie Scanner page in the back and click on the Migrate database button.
