Additional Fields won't delete

This is a very unusual bug. When you click the red circle, do they disappear from your page? They should immediately be deleted, but you have to hit save to “confirm” the delete.

I have 3 Additional Fields; Twitter ID, Facebook ID, Youtube ID in that order. When I click the red circle for each one they will disappear and then I save and they come right back.

If I delete them one at a time, (delete one then save, delete the 2nd one then save) the twitter and facebook deleted properly but the Youtube field will not delete. Can you reproduce this? I have all plugins disabled except yours.

It’s not really a big deal because you can hide the fields but I thought I should let you know.

I’m having the same problem – I created a field and now can’t delete it. It is removed from the screen with the red circle, but when saving the page it just re-appears.

Having the same issue. When I click the red button to delete the fields, they are removed from the screen. But after submitting the page with “Save Changes” button at the bottom (or just reloading the page) the fields reappear.

Reproducable in Chrome in Linux & OS X, and Firefox in OS X.

I had added two fields that I wanted to delete. I found that if I remove one of the fields and submit the form, that field is removed. But I cannot remove the last field.

After a quick look at POST data, it appears that changes to the “additional fields” require the presence of

label[1]:
meta_key[1]:

and so forth, in the POST data. But removing the last additional field means there is no label[] and such, so no action is taken.

Hope this makes sense. I can look more closely at this tomorrow.
