Additional information not showing

Hello @pvde ,

Out of the box, WooCommerce only shows attributes on the “Additional information” tab. From your product link, it looks like any of your plugin or theme are using custom code to show other information as well. So, I believe the inconsistency is coming from them.

Can you please run through these tests and let me know how it goes?

1. Switch to a default theme i.e. Twenty Twenty / Storefront
2. Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and then activate them one by one to figure out the faulty one.

Test your feature after each activation/deactivation. More details on the conflict test here.

If the above does not help please share your WooCommerce configuration details from wp-admin > WooCommerce > Status so we can understand a bit more about the problem.

I did as you request. Activated storefront and only the Woocommerce plugin. Still nothing showed up on the ‘Additional information’ tab.

Thanks for sharing the site status. It looks like you still had some plugins and a third-party theme activated. Can you please try after disabling all of them?

Also, please note that the “Additional information” tab will show only the “Attributes” added to the product. If you do not have attributes on the product then this tab will not work.

If you continue having the problem please share the product URL on which the tab is available but it is showing blank.

Okay, can you please make sure that the HTML tags used in the description of the product https://www.reschemical.com/product/4-fma/ have been set properly?

It looks like the description tab information is merging into the Additional tab content. As a result, the active class is not being used properly when you are on the Additional Information tab. It happens if the HTML tags are not closed properly.

One quick way to test this possible by removing all content from the description tab of this product temporarily. Then check if the missing tab content is showing properly or not.

When I put everything back, it shows up again but without the content.

It’s normal to not have the “Additional information” tab when there are no attributes selected. By default, WooCommerce shows attributes in this tab.

Have you been able to try after removing content from the “Description” or main content area?

From the outside, it looks like the content on the Description tab has a mismatched HTML structure and that is blocking the content of the immediate next tab.

Let me know how it goes without having “Description” on the product.
