additional into: Keep getting 403 error when trying to edit page

In addition to not being able to do anything at all with WP — I now cannot even access the directory *I made* for the blog. It is empty of course because I couldn’t post the blog, but I FTPed a file there and I can’t even access that from the browser — I get the same msg. I’ve check all permissions for all folders and they are fine.

I also tried to run install again, of course couldn’t do that. Should I delete everything and start again? grrrr
