I write with great concern since something unusual is happening to me. I have been using the plugin for more than 1 year, I create backup copies of the website every 2 or 3 months, the total weight is approximately 700mb, yesterday I made a backup and it reached 2100mb, looking closely, I notice that additional files have been created in the location: wp-content\litespeed\js\
In the previous backup this folder only contained 1 file of 423kb, now this folder contains 2827 files with a weight of 1.6GB and 2 more subfolders, therefore here is the problem, it is the first time this has happened and I don’t know why this was created.
Please can you help me so that it doesn’t happen again? I can delete all the content of wp-content\litespeed\js\ without problem?

    Thank

I went to tools / empty the entire cache and I noticed that everything was deleted. Can you please tell me what is happening?

@vallesierra7 that folder is being emptied on purge all or clear css/js, as you saw it.
You can clear the folder yourself, but I recommand clear cache right after that.

The js folder is gathering old(expired) JS until is getting cleared

What a scare, I thought a virus had entered when I saw the size of the backup. This is the first time this has happened, is it possible to configure it so that this is automatically deleted after x period?

unfortunately current version doesn’t have such auto-delete

however you can set up a system cron to check and clean it

for detail about the case, please check this page
