• We use this plugin for our Intranet, it works create syncing and creating based off of our Active Directory, we have notice a bug however that after a user logs in their email, first name and last name and wiped out leaving only nickname and their avatar.

We think this is because we haven’t setup this plugin to pull additional information, like First Name and email etc, so when a user logins in it syncs and wipes it since we aren’t calling for the data. I’ve tried to set it up but have had no success, was really hoping someone here could lend us a hand in having this plugin in pull across email address, first name and last name and populate them into the correct wordpress user profile fields.

Just one example would go a long way,

    Thanks for your time.

  • When i integrate the Active Directory plugin, the plugin authenticated successfully and the username of the user is also getting from the Active Directory. My problem is with the email id i can’t get the email id of the User from AD. In log it shows mail is empty.”Local value of meta key mail left unchanged”. What should i do.?

I added the meta for the email under additional user attributes in usermeta tab AD plugin. My code is like

    mail:string:mail

Whats wrong with my code..Thanks In Advance.Anyone please help

I have the same problem as jason.barber. User Meta fields are cleared after they logon to the Intranet. Is there a solution to that? What’s the correct syntax for adding AD attributes like givenname, sn, displayname and mail into WordPress?

Found and fixed the problem. The base DN field on the Server tab got erased for some reason. I repopulated it and now the information is coming in nicely. I hope that helps others.
