Would be very cool if all of the plugin options could be overridden as parameters in the shortcode itself. That way we could have countups that truly are independent of each other, e.g. we often need different prefixes for individual countups, or want to use different time spans for each. BTW, thanks for making this plugin available. Very useful, indeed. ??

Hi Killerdog, I like the idea that you propose. Now, I imagine a radio button at the options page then you activate it, and you’ll use the whole options inside the shortcode, like you said, and if you not activate the radio button, the options will keep it normal (like we use it now).

Nice idea, anything else? I’ll work in that tomorrow or maybe today. Thanks. ??

Not sure exactly what you mean with the radio button. Maybe we’re talking about the same thing. ??

But, in my mind at least, I was just thinking about keeping the current settings page as it currently is, and just adding all of the settings as optional parameters within the shortcode, so that each setting can be overridden dynamically every time the shortcode is called. If any parameter is not called within the shortcode, the default value from the settings page would be used instead.

Got it! I think your idea is better than mine (radio button). Thank you, I’ll work in that.

Hi friend, I already did your idea, thanks for that. Please update and read the instructions and test it. If you find any bug, please notify me, and If everything is OK, tell me to close this topic as resolved. ??

Works great! Couldn’t ask for more! Although, we needed to update the shortcode output from using a “div” to a “span”, since we add the counters to a continuous flow of text with a paragraph. Not a big deal, but just for your information. Thanks again for this great plugin!

I glad you like it! Thanks to you for the idea! I’ll check the <span> tag, but you always can change it using CSS. I’ll mark this as resolved. ??
