Additional properties for NewsArticle?

  • Hi, will you be adding support for some of the NewsArticle properties your plugin doesn’t have now?

    Specifically:

    • genre
      I would like to reference the IPTC taxonomy here: https://cv.iptc.org/newscodes/genre/
    • “keywords” = tags by default
    • “articleSection” = categories by default
    • “isAccessibleForFree” (boolean)
    • “editor” and “contributor” (as options if “author” – equivalent to “creator” – is not sufficient, e.g. author writes a story, contributor assists, editor rereads and publishes online)
    • “copyrightHolder” – “publisher” by default
    • “copyrightYear” – extracted from datePublished
