Addon Packages Protected Content While in Trial Membership.

Having an issue using Addon Packages with a trial membership level.
I have a monthly membership level setup with a 45 day trial membership with $0 cost to start.
I also have additional protected pages/post setup that require the trial membership. This is done using the Addon Packages plugin. I would like to charge for access to these pages/posts while members are in their monthly subscription trial.
At the moment when a 45 day trial registered user navigates to an Addon Packages protected page/post they are met with the additional purchase required screen with the checkout button. Upon clicking that button, they are met with the billing screen which states as follows:
You are purchasing additional access to: (Name of Protected Page/Post)
The price is is $5.00. after your 45 day trial.1. Is this charging or not charging my members if they are in trial member status?
2. If this is charging them, how can I change the message to leave off the part about the 45 day trial? It may be confusing to see that if someone is deciding to purchase.
3. If this is not charging them, How can I charge them for the additional protected content while they are in the trial membership?
