Address mistake
-
Hi,
I hope someone can help. I’ve been running a christmas feature on my site in wordpress that I hoped to be able to change to a regular feature throughout the year. I wondered if I would be able to just change the address so that rather than being /christmas it becomes /product. I looked in the general settings and found the editable boxes WordPress address (URL) and Site address (URL) so changed these, but now I’m thinking I shouldn’t have.
When I log onto the old page: https://www.essexmums.org/christmas all the plugins are gone and styles are screwed, so it looks awful, and if I try to log in to the back end I get stuck in a sort of loop, with this message:
(none)2.122.100.62/product/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fessexmums.org%2Fchristmas%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1essexmums.orgMozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 AskTbUT2V5/3.9.1.14019 Firefox/3.6.13 GTB7.1404
and can’t log in, which means I can’t change anything back to how it was.
IS there anything I can do? Please help!
