• the addresses previously stored in the address book are missing, we have noticed they rather leave a blank space up there with the major upgrade to version 3.0.2

how can we resolve this issue so users can access the addresses that they previously stored.

Do you have any customizations or overrides applied to the plugin at all?

So far we have seen a few people in a situation similar to yours, but we’ve not been able to replicate the issue with the upgrade at all on any site so far to troubleshoot what might have gone wrong.

As much information as we can get to try and reproduce it will help in seeing what is actually going on.

hello can we use a plugin like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-rollback/ for rolling back to the 2.6.0 version without rolling back the db

You can use the download link right on https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woo-address-book/ to download the 2.6.2 version of the plugin. Then upload it using the Add plugin uploader and it should overwrite the 3.0 updater.

With 2.6.2 we added downgrade code so it will be able to read 3.0 addresses without throwing errors if they still exist in the site.

We would like to learn how to reproduce the issue, so anything you can provide would be helpful.

Such as a system report: https://woocommerce.com/document/understanding-the-woocommerce-system-status-report/

You can send it to [email protected] if you would rather that than posting it on a public forum.

is there a way in this where i can import/export addresses from the plugin

Downgrading it to 2.6.2 shows that there arent any additional addresses in the address book but with 3.0.0 i know i have additional addresses in a clients address book as there are blanks

are there specific tables i can check n the db to see if the data is still present

i have had users mention the following ”?I came to the shipping section, I clicked on the address book at the top.? It listed all of my addresses and I clicked on one of them.? The next thing that should have happened is all of the fields below should have populated.? They did not.? They were blank and I had to fill them in, i have investigated after this and i saw that all addresses in the backend were blank, we generally preview users address book on the my account page where they appear blank downgrading doesn’t list the address, users have mentioned they have lost the addresses that they previously created and can only see the newly created address

I agree, I have the same issue with no customizations

Here is what I have noticed. When I log in as a customer and go through the checkout process, it seems to be loading, but when I get to the checkout page, everything disappears.

If I go back to the address book, and then cart, checkout everything loads correctly.

Does this make any sense? I have also noticed if I dont have the import/export section enabled it does not work even with this work around.
