Sorry, this is a problem I had that I posted a few weeks earlier. I was unable to get back with your replies at the time. So, I am opening up another topic.

When customers fill out payment and shipping information in on our site (WooCommerce Plugin), the shipping address information is sent to PayPal. Sometimes, not all of the time, the shipping address changes on PayPal’s end. Contacted PayPal, they said it wasn’t their problem.

I see you made a comment about if the customer has an account they can select that as their shipping address, which will send back to WooCommerce. This makes sense.

I made a test purchase from my client’s site:
I put my Billing Details as: Client Name, Address 104 S. Jefferson, Greenup
Checked ship to different address box: 201 N. Meridian, Toledo

When I hit buy and it takes me to PayPal, click use credit/debit card (not signed into PayPal account), the billing address in PayPal is the the Shipping Address I entered at our store’s end. And PayPal’s ship to the same address box is checked.

Any ideas on how to fix or is this just a PayPal thing?

    Thanks again.

  • You mean as in the address details aren’t being filled out automatically within the fields when choosing to enter a creditcard manually?

The way this can happen is that in your PayPal Standard settings you’ve left this disabled, which is recommended, and then the customer changed their address on PayPal’s site during the checkout process. If they do change their address there is unfortunately nothing we can do to get that change back over to WooCommerce. PayPal just doesn’t offer a way to do that yet.

You can enable this though and it won’t let your customers change the address they entered on your site once they get to PayPal’s site to pick their payment method.
