adds and tags mid-paragraph

  • Is there a way to allow the link text to remain inline with a sentence/paragraph? The shortcode automatically adds a break and paragraph tag. So when I add a shortcode for the term “Lexicon”, this

    “The Secret Doctrine Lexicon is a project set up by…”

    becomes

    “The Secret Doctrine
    Lexicon
    is a project set up by…”

    In the page source, I see this:

    <p style=”text-align: justify;”><i>The Secret Doctrine
    <style type=”text/css”>#AnythingPopup_BoxContainer2 ….

    I want to be able to insert multiple shortcodes within the body of an article, so that the article remains in tact in its formatting. How can I make sure the shortcode doesn’t add new breaks or paragraphs?
