Adds essential features all site builders need…

  • Experience the site editor the way it was meant to be.

    I have chosen to use Spectra One theme because it adds the essential features that no other block theme currently offers. And all for free.

    • Quick toggle to hide the page title area on any page or post
    • Quick toggle to make any page or the entire site have a transparent header
    • Quick toggle to make any page or the entire site have a sticky header
    • Ability to set an actual page as the home page, this should be an obvious one but most site editor themes don’t work like this

    The included patterns and color schemes are great. I also love the modern style Spectra One adds to some core site building blocks.

    I have asked them to add a scroll to top, and they are working on adding that as well.

    When paired with Spectra I am able to add custom fonts as well. You would naturally think you could do this with a site editor theme, but it’s not the case; all fonts have to be declared, and too many will cause a performance issue. This is why site editor themes have one or two font options available. Spectra makes it easy for me to use the fonts I want to use on my website.

    Such a potent combo. I have 4 websites on Spectra One right now. I am loving all the power of the site editor. I don’t think I can go back to a classic theme.
