Coming Soon Plugin adds a menu item in the profile menu of my buddypress members in the frontend!

Unfortunately I cannot delete it, it just appears.

The link of the menu item goes to
    /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=seed_csp4
If you click it displays: “you have no rights to view this page”.

Would accept it, if it appears for admins only. That’s not the case. It’s in the menue of everyone.

    Ideas how to fix?

    Thanks you in advance

It should only add a menu to the Settings in the admin. Will take a look today!

This should occur only if you are logged in as an admin, if you are a regular user you should not see it.
    Can you test that.

    Thanks

Yes, I did. It appears for all users, e.g. With the role “subscriber”. Thank you

    Hi,

I looked into it and right now the capability for the menu is “manage_options” which according to WordPress is reserved for Admins https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Roles_and_Capabilities

I haven’t had a chance to setup buddypress to test. You could

    1. Hide the menu with css.
    2. Edit the plugin menu codef to a different capability.

I won’t have time ti setup a buddy press instance until this weekend.

Hi, weekend is fine. No worries. Unfortunately I’m not an expert for css or to edit the plugin. Thank you.

I installed BuddyPress and was unable to reproduce this issue. What widget are you using to show that info?
