• On a scale of 1-10 for technical ability with WordPress, I consider myself about a 7. I’m not a programmer, but know enough to be able to look at something and figure out what it does. I have a really odd situation with AddThis in the fact that I have no idea where it’s located on my site. It’s been on there for years, easily 3-4, but there is no plugin installed. I vaguely remember looking at it back then so I know it didn’t appear on its own, I just have zero idea where this is located on my site. I even FTPed into the site to verify it wasn’t lurking somewhere. So AddThis shows on the bottom of every one of my posts, but I have no idea how since nothing is installed.

I went into the Widgets but nothing is there. I even went into Appearance/Edit and searched every single PHP file but don’t see anything in there. I figured if it wasn’t installed maybe it was some embed code that I put in a long time ago but forgot about it. I am baffled by this. I even had someone else check my site on their phone to make sure it wasn’t something to do with my computer, and they see it as well on my posts.

Hopefully there’s an answer for this. Any idea how I’m getting this? I even tried to log into the AddThis site using both of my primary email addresses and it says neither are in the database, so it’s not even like I registered a long time ago and forgot about it. Really confusing! Thanks for the help!

Nevermind, I found where it was. Didn’t realize this theme inserted javascript code in the comments.php file to include it.
