Adjust size and postion of image in lightbox

Hello! Thanks for your great plugin. It has a great look and works really well.

We have adjusted the captions to be in a little box on the left top. Sometimes they are really long and we don’t want them to overlap the picture too much. So we would like to set a smaller image size. I was using this code, but the problem is the alignment of the images is not centered anymore. Do you have a solution for this?
I already tried putting a smaller default media size in WordPress, but that didn’t have any effects.
