Adjusting widths of secondary, content-are, slider in twenty fourteen

I’ve made my primary (secondary) sidebar wider, and tried to make adjustments to slider to accommodate for this. But I’m having trouble at narrower breakpoints. There’s a space to the left of slider images. and at one interval (around 1050px) the left side of slider is cut off. Things look ok when wider than 1050. Can anyone help me with these media query css values please?
