Adjustments are not being honoured

  • I have an event field called QBR (Quarterback Rating) that is being entered at the end of every event. It cannot be calculated in SportsPress because it is very complex. I’ve resigned myself to that fact.
    That’s fine. My problem comes when I attempt to display a player list. That field is being totalled. That is fine too since I know SP has an adjustment field I should be able to use to arrive at the correct value.
    The problem is that the adjustment field is not being honoured. When I first enter an adjustment and go back to the values, I can see that the change is there. When I save the changes, the value returns to its original value and
    when I display the player list, it too is showing the original value and NOT the adjusted value.

    The original calculated value is 201.837. I entered an adjustment of -117.694. So, what should be displayed is 84.143.

    Hi!

    Thank you for your message and I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue.

    Let’s try to isolate where that issue is. A few things to try:
    1) Disable all plugins but SP
    2) Use the default theme with no custom code
    3) Use something simple there in the adjustments, such as “1” just to see if that field is being read at all

    OK.
    1. Disabled all but SP
    2. Used Rookie
    3. Removed the adjustment. Saved. Made the adjustment -1. Saved. Displayed the Player list.

    I still get the original 201.837 (Instead of 200.837).

    Hi @gator8 !

    Please try a positive number, so 1 instead of -1, just to see if that’s the issue there. You can roll back the other changes as it doesn’t look like they are affecting this issue.

    No difference. It is still keeping the original number.
