You can try the Jetpack plugin by Automattic. It provides a basic mobile theme for sites. I haven’t tested it on BuddyPress, but it might be a good place to start.

Otherwise, you would need to develop your own mobile theme, use a plugin that provides it or use a theme that is responsive (meaning it adapts to the screen size of your viewing device).
