Admin Account Missing

  • I just upgraded to version 2.5 and have one serious problem; my admin account is no longer an admin account.

    First a little background information:

    When I first installed wordpress a few years ago I added a new account and gave it full admin privledges and then removed the default admin account. This has worked OK for a few years. Now, however, when I did the 2.5 upgrade I couldn’t login at first (due to the fact I was using the OpenID authentication plugin) however, I had wordpress send me a new password and I logged in OK.

    However, now that I am logged in I can’t really manage the blog. My admin rights don’t seem to exist anymore. What do I need to do (via mySQL changes most likely) to give my account it’s admin privledges back?

    All of my plugins are disabled at the moment so my site is totally open to ridiculous spam (which started to come in instantly.

    Please help!
