admin-ajax.php 404 error

  • Hi guys,

    We’re seeing problems with quote’s not displaying for users. When they add an item to cart then choose a suburb to get a shipping quote, user is stuck with spinning “getting quote’s” gif.

    Transdirect 7.3 plugin installed
    Test API via Woocommerce settings>shipping = succesful

    Console reveals admin-ajax.php 404 error.

    I’ve tried downgraded WordPress core to 5.3.2 version and still not working

    Try choosing ‘quickest & fastest’ option for couriers. Some couriers may be affected by COVID causing some of the couriers not to load properly. This should fix the issue.

    You could also try de-selecting some of the couriers from the full list and if ‘getting quotes’ keeps spinning you will be able to eventually find which ones stop the quotes displaying.

    @rajuta999 i manged to fix the problem rolling back to an earlier version of our site. I haven’t tested which plugin and/or versions affected working with transdirect.

    If you have a previous backup, try rolling back and test

    @transdirect please email [email removed] I just installed the plugin on the latest WordPress and get this message

    There are no shipping options available. Please ensure that your address has been entered correctly, or contact us if you need any help.

    I have tried 3 different addresses – still get check transdirect settings.

    update, I selected cheapest and fastest, residential and also added a box size 25x25x25 weight 20kg to get the calculator to work. It showed Fastways and also TNT express.

    We disabled all the courier options under settings > store integrations then re-enabled them one by one.

    We found CP Domestic Priority – Signature Required and TNT Overnight Express were causing our issue.
