I have an issue with Slider Revolution where it is unable to generate a slide preview, with the error message saying “Unable to load preview due to some conflict with another plugin”

I reached out to Theme Punch to ask them and they tell me that this issue is caused by admin-ajax.php being blocked on the server side.

I reached out to our ISP and they told me to put Wordfence in Learning mode, then to try generating the preview again, and then putting Wordfence back in enabled mode, which i did, but no luck.

I have a Firewall rule Add Allow List/URL for /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php enabled, but no difference.

Please can you tell me what else i can do to fix this issue.

    Terry Bilton

    Hi @tbilton

It sounds like Wordfence is not involved.

First, check that the option Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation is disabled in the General Wordfence Options section on the All Options page. ?It is disabled by default. ?If you do need to disable it then make sure to press the SAVE CHANGES button. If you are not sure, then the check box must be blank for this option to be disabled. If it is enabled when you deactivate Wordfence then you will lose all of your settings.

Now deactivate Wordfence on the WordPress Plugins page.

If you have the same problem when Wordfence is deactivated then Wordfence can’t be involved.

You can then activate Wordfence again.
