admin-ajax.php?action=multidomain-setup-cdsso Slow

  • Hi everyone, Im troubleshooting a site speed issue and using Gtmetrix I found that every site in my multisite is calling /admin-ajax.php?action=multidomain-setup-cdsso on load.
    This URL takes over 2 seconds to load while the entire rest of the site takes less then 2 seconds.

    What is /admin-ajax.php?action=multidomain-setup-cdsso and how can I make it faster?

    I believe multidomain-setup-cdsso is from the multisite domain mapping plugin. This plugin is no longer required on more recent versions of WP. Domain mapping is now handled natively within WP. If you have an older version that requires the plugin you should seriously consider upgrading.
