admin-ajax.php Error?

  • hello, I recently installed the new wordpress (wordpress 2.3) and I am having an error with the admin page when trying to delete the main post.

    “Not Acceptable
    An appropriate representation of the requested resource /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php could not be found on this server.

    Apache/1.3.37 Server at randycram.com Port 80″

    I have downloaded and uploaded that file multiple times and i still have the error every time. Please help me resolve this as soon as possible.

  • your trouble is with mod_security.

    I have added a tag: mod_security to THIS post. If you click THAT link you will see 100s of other posts with similar issues, and the same regurgitated answer, by me, in most cases.

    You could have found the same answer via a search.
