Admin and New Signup Redirection Issue

  • Hello and good morning.

    I have TML installed and working in wordpress Multisite.

    I tried to configure new signups (Participants) to goto the /wp-signup/ so they can register for a site/url of their own, but the administrator login is also going to the /wp-signup/.

    Am I doing something wrong? I originally had the default redirection set for Admin login but then changed it to /wp-admin/ because I was being redirected to the new site sign up everytime I was logging in, after setting /wp-signup/ for new signups (Participants).

    What is the best way to configure this so Admin goes to default admin dashboard and new signups goto the website registration page /wp-signup/?

    TML’s Redirection module is configurable per user role… Did you set a different redirect for administrators?

    Hi Jeff,

    Initially I did not set a different redirect for the admin.

    But the admin login was being redirected to the same page as the new “participant” (/wp-signup.php)

    I then set the admin redirect for /wp-admin/ and it’s still redirecting to the participant login.

    As usual, disable other plugins and see if it works as expected. There may be a conflict.

    Well I am going to assume disabling the Domain Mapping plugin will resolve the issue, but that breaks a major functionality for me.

    The plugin seems to be workign but not redirecting to the proper login page for the administrator.

    Has no one else tried using your TML and Domain Mapping before?
