Admin area non reposnsive..

  • Hi Guys,

    I have a problem with my wordpress install at https://www.dating-review-uk.co.uk/blog that I am hoping that someone with more W-P experiance will know what to do with….

    Over the weekend I have lost functionality in my admin panel, in that – I am unable to switch between “visual/HTML” when writing a post nor am I able to move/re-order widgets, I suspect that there are other “issues” that I am yest to find..

    Can anyone shed any light on the possible causes of this??

    I have tried:

    1) moving back to default theme
    2) Turning off widgets
    3) ugrading/renewing W-P install( i was running 2.9.1 )

    Although I have not fully populated content( so can quickly start from scratch/rebuild) I do have a forum attached as a plugin, and This forum has has been pobulated and I would rather not have to go through all of that again!!.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing your available memory?
