Admin area not accessible at random, blog working.

  • Hello community.

    For the last month, the admin area in my WordPress blog becomes inaccessible at random times. When this happens, clicking on it results in an attempt to load the page until it times out.

    The blog & associated website do not go down during this time – although they did once when multiple clicks were initiated.

    At other times, it works normally and I am able to access all features. There have been no changes beyond normal posting (including plugins) before this activity.

    I have been able to find discussion of similar instances online, so any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
