    This may be remedial but I cannot find it in any! of the help documentation

    If you have a badge that is admin assigned, how do you actually give the badge out? The submission form I cannot figure out… I see some shortcodes but they do not apply

    Honestly I am so pumped about Badges but was surprised this was not intuitive within the app… I am a software developer and could not figure this out from the app itself nor the help documents nor the forum…

    Am about to be humbled I am sure !

    Admin awarded badges can only be awarded from the user profile, it won’t trigger on any event. Here are the steps you can follow to award the admin awarded badge to a user.

    Admin Awarded Badge:

    • Create admin awarded badge by adding new achievement and select “Admin Awarded Only” in Earned by option.
    • Go to the user profile of the user you want to award this badge.
    • At the very bottom of the profile page, there will be an option “Award an Achievement”. Select the achievement type and award the badge to the user.

    We have tested the shortcodes are working fine on our end. Please let us know the BadgeOS version you are using and which shortcode is having issues with you?
