When a non-admin logs in, they are being taken to the wordpress user profile area instead of the home page. I have PaidMembershipsPro installed too. This used to work but now is not.

The login is under the Online Library nav bar link. Though you will need a user to try it out. ??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I actually had to upgrade to the Pro version and install the member home pages to get around this problem. That is a little disconcerting as this free version is supposed to work (this plugin & the free PaidMembershipsPro plugin)

Hi there. I’m glad you found a solution for this. It can be complicated to get things the way you need with so many plugins, but basically this plugin ONLY hides the admin bar. It doesn’t keep users from accessing the WP Dashboard. For that, you can use another free plugin like Theme My Login or there are some others to keep users out of the dashboard. The Member Homepages add on we have for premium members is a decent solution too and allows you to have different front end homepages for each level if that’s what you need.

I hope things work out well for you. If you find you don’t need any other services for your PMPro membership, feel free to reach out to the contact form to request a refund.
