Admin toolbar no longer showing on front page of site

  • The admnin toolbar no longer shows when I go to view the front page or any post on my site. I checked my Profile settings, but the box is clicked for “Show toolbar when viewing site”. How can I get the admin tool bar to show again?

  • There may be a plugin causing it to be hidden, or possibly custom code within function.php (or corresponding requires/includes).

    What we often reccomend to people, is disable all plugins and change the theme. Then add each piece back one by one, until I find the culprit.

    It’s a little bit of a pain, but that’s the nature of the beast.
