Admin colors all messed up

  • I have been having serious .htaccess problems since yesterday and Bluehost got it all working…I think….{my blog was loading without any css – intermittently} but since yesterday my dashboard has been all weird and looks like it’s missing styling as well. The sidebar items are blue link colors. Any clue what’s happened?

  • Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    would i upload them in the web root or the document root? Is there a way to do them all at once…or do I have to do them one by one?

    Web root I assume. The place where you originally installed WordPress into.

    That depends upon the file management application that you are using.
