Something has since v6.2.0 started to break the configuration panel. A day ago, or so, I discovered that something in my own plugin did not render properly and I first believed that I did something wrong with the configuration array.

Today, I discovered that the primary woocommerce (general) admin panel was broken too. So I decided to disable everything in my test platform except for WooCommerce itself. The same problem continued to show up, so for just a few minutes ago I reverted WooCommerce to version 6.1.1 – in that version the problem disappeared.

I’ve uploaded a screenshot to the url below to show how the admin panel looks in v6.2.0

    Hi @tornevall,

Thank you for reporting this issue with your site.

I don’t seem to be able to open the png file as I get an empty response message. For screenshots we recommend using https://snipboard.io – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge browsers.

If you’re not using a default theme like Storefront you may want to try to temporarily switch your theme as well, aside from disabling all other plugins except WooCommerce. More details on conflict testing can be found here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

If this doesn’t help, we’re going to need a few more details:

    • System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
    • Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > Status > Logs (if available).

    Thanks!

    Got it!

Here’s a new one, saved as jpeg instead: https://snipboard.io/tlPX63.jpg

Edit: I’ve already tested most of what’s mentioned here. Besides, this happens in admin so the themes should not be very involved in the problem.

    Hi @tornevall,

Thanks for sharing a screenshot of your General settings.

This is not what I see on my WooCommerce installation. Note that I’m only running WooCommerce with WordPress and the default Storefront theme. I do not have additional plugins or custom code.

If the General settings page looks fine with WooCommerce 6.1.1 but not when you upgrade to WooCommerce 6.2.0 then it would be something that the developers of that tool might want to take a closer look at, since they may need to modify their product code for this to be fully compatible with the latest version of WooCommerce.

    Thanks.

    An interesting update from me:

I was going to investigate the problem further in the code, just to point out some kind of direction for your developers, of where the problem might have occurred – but after the revert I did and further “reupgrades” to 6.2.0 again seems to have fixed the problem for 6.2.0 entirely by itself.

I’m not sure what kind of glitch that may have caused this problem but for the moment it looks gone.

    Hey @tornevall!

Awesome! I’m happy to hear that! Feel free to reach out again to us if you have questions!

    All the best!
