• Hello there,

I’m currently building my website and encountered a frustrating issue. When I click on “Site” in the top left corner of my screen from my admin back-office, it should take me to the front page of my website. However, the editor’s black bar on top of my website, which I use to edit pages, isn’t appearing. I tried removing some new plugins that I thought might be causing the problem, but that hasn’t resolved the issue. As a result, I can’t edit any pages at the moment.

This situation is quite stressful, and I’m seeking assistance to resolve it. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Kindest regards,

    Bismarck

The lack of an admin bar doesn’t prevent you from editing pages, you can still do that from the Pages section of your Dashboard at any time.

As for the issue of the missing admin bar, see if allowing third-party cookies in your browser makes it re-appear.

    Hi James Huff,

Thank you for your assistance. Unfortunately, this approach isn’t working for me. I have multiple pages to manage, and accessing them directly through the back-office “Pages” section is just too time-consuming. I’m frustrated that this shortcut feature has just seemingly disappeared from the top screen somehow. It has to be something I accidentally did while working on the editing, but I can’t figure it out. There must be a solution to this issue. But I’m still hoping this can be improved or restored if someone in this forum can still help me with this please. Thank you!

See if allowing third-party cookies in your browser makes it re-appear.

Also, at Users > Your Profile in the Dashboard, make sure that “Show toolbar when viewing site” is checked: https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/users-your-profile-screen/

Hey James, thanks for the direction. Yes it is still checked when I looked into it but nothing’s work after refreshing the screen.

I’m not sure about the third-party cookies thing in my browser will make it reappear, neither I know how that works as I am on Brave browser.

In Brave, try “Allow all Cookies”: https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/360050634931-How-Do-I-Manage-Cookies-In-Brave#2

Also, do you have the same problem in your system’s default browser?
