• I had my personal email on the website as admin when I created the wp system for my client.

Now I’m ready to change it to the info@hisdomain email, and I did that. I changed it in the General settings AND in the Superuser email…

I then confirmed the changes to both.

Logged out and back in, and they are changed.

I use Gravity forms to have it register a user and send them an email.
The emails that go out all come from my personal email address.

How do I force WP to use the newly updated email address?

Even the user notification email that WP sends out by default, uses my personal email.

So there must be a way to clear any cache the programming is using.

any idea how to get this changed?

    Thanks,
    -Richard

  • Did you change the email address in your profile AND under Settings → General in the email address field?

If not change the one you have not yet changed and see if that resolves the issue.

Once you find a solution please tag the thread as resolved.
