• Hi!

I created a registration form with Ultimate Member. When I test registration process I get an error message on top of the page after I fill in the registration form and hit ‘Register’. The message reads:

    Warning
: stripslashes() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in
    /var/www/u0697052/public_html/anylegal.ru/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-member/includes/core/class-validation.php
    on line
    76

    After that:

    – I receive new user notification to my admin email
    – I see no new user in the user list in my wordpress admin area
    – I see that email of my admin account was requested to be changed to the email of the new user

This is very bad situation. Please tell me how can we fix it

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Small correction: admin email is not requested to be changed, but changes immediately

    Hi @dmitrybabanov,

This issue can be due to some conflicts with your theme or one of your plugins.
Please do a quick conflict test and see if this issue goes away.
Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

    Regards.

I just did it and I still get the same error message with all the plugins deactivated and the theme switched to Twenty Nineteen

Worth to mention that registration worked correctly before with similar configuration, when I had same plugins and my custom theme

Ok, so I explored a lot of cases while trying to debug this situation and found a very strange behavior of the registration form

When I try to register a user with first name and lase name in Russian letters, I get the situation a described in the post above.

When I try to register a user with first name and lase name in English letters, the user i registered correctly. But here comes the strangest part. If then I try to register a user with first name and lase name in Russian letters again, the user is also created correctly!

Then I go back to admin panel and delete last two users. Try to create a new user with a name in Russian. Bug repeats.

I repeated this case several times.

Obviously it is a bug. I said above, I tried deactivating all plugins and switching to the default theme. It doesn’t help

Now after struggling to get support for this plugin for several days, I’m convinced that I want to pay $250 for it
