I’m trying to login to one of my sites and it’s telling me that my IP has been blocked and to contact the Admin…. problem is, I am the Admin. I’ve never logged into this site from anywhere but the same IP and I suspect that the site could be compromised but not certain. How can I get into the site now? I built the site so I am fairly good with WP as well as accessing it through cPanel.

Hi, just rename the plugin folder via FTP. Then login to your site, once you are log in rename the plugin folder back to it’s original name. Then enable the plugin and check for any IP addresses blocked.

Let me know if this helps you.

    Regards

If your IP is in a White List, Go to your /public_html (using FileZilla), open .htaccess and change your old IP Adddress for the new. I do that because my IP is not static.

Helpful tip. Thanks! I’m back in.
