admin link to wrong address

  • All’s ok, except when on home page, the link to “admin” goes to https://letiptriboro.comauthor/admin/ and this is clearly wrong. I can login, I can get to the admin page another way. I just want to fix this glitch. Do I have to go into the PhPadmin File? I am not a php programmer.

  • You’ll need to edit your theme’s index.php template file and correct the faulty code.

    And that might be found where? exactly? There are several index.php files in this site’s various directories.

    In your current theme’s folder within wp-content/themes.

    I’m having the same problem as you are . . however, I CAN’T log in. How is it you go through another page? If I can just log in, I can fix me problem. Somehow, I have redirected my home page. Thanks so much!
