• Hi there,

I’ve been updating my website fine through wordpress. I just installed an events calendar widget and made it a calendar only option (as part of app) and now I don’t have access to edit my wordpress site. I don’t get the wordpress options any more, and just see details as if I am a user of the site rather than admin.

    Any suggestions??

    Shane

  • Which calendar widget? Have you uninstalled it? (Delete it from your server using FTP).

It was all-in-one-calendar. I have deleted it from the FTP and no changes.

The website is still there, so I thought I might be rip all of the site out, and re-install wordpress as a last resort. Not quite sure how this would work, so any advise welcome.

So an update. I’ve talked to my host, and the site can be restored to what it was yesterday morning. I’ve only created the a sprite since then and done the coding, updated the css and put the html in, and of course uploaded the image.

At the very worst the site will be restored to how it was yesterday, and I’ll add the code back in. 5 minutes work after it took me 5 hours to reteach myself the photoshop and html skills to accomplish this. Now that I know it, and have the required code, easy peasy.

Here’s to hoping the restore is successful.

    Cheers.

Good luck. Come back if you need to. ??
