    Hi fellows,

I’m new here, started with my WordPress website 2 weeks ago. Today I got messed up with something, can no more log in to the admin. The admin site kept redirecting to subdomain/wp-login and it showed following error:

    This site can’t be reached
sub.domain.com’s server DNS address could not be found.
    DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

Before that I was trying to put my website multilingual using Multisite and Multilingual Press. When mapping a subdomain, I remember its “primary” box was checked. Could that be the problem that caused redirection?

Please help me out! I’m totally frustrated…
    Thanks!

    Hi defan!

Usually, these redirect issues are the other way: when you try to log into the subsite, it redirects to the main site.

Have you tried removing the domain mapping (just temporarily) to see if that solves the issue? Checking the box for primary domain is not causing this –that just tells the network that you will be accessing the subsite both front & dashboard from that mapped domain.

Did you verify that the subsite worked before you mapped the domain?

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN, hi, i am having this same issue now, i am not very savvy on this site so can you please explain to me step by step what to do ?

ebenbotesktm363, per forum guidelines, to get the best help, please make your own NEW support topic, and explain as much as you can about what you have set up, the type of multisite that you are using, and how your are getting those errors. Just because you are getting the same message, does not mean you have the same problem. ??
