Admin login not working

  • For the past couple weeks our admin login has been problematic. Subscribers can log in just fine, but admins login is being denied as a wrong password. The only way I’ve been able to access my site as an admin is via the link on my host dashboard.

    Related to this issue, the URL for my admin login is being redirected to my general user login despite the fact that I whitelisted the URL in the Ultimate Member settings.

    Hello @pdxcomm

    Please deactivate Ultimate member plugin via FTP and see if you can log in as Admin. If it is because of UM, you should be able to log in after deactivating UM.

    Please let me know what you find out so that we can find a solution if UM is the cause.

    Unfortunately, when I disabled the UM plugin, I still had the error. I suppose I’ll go through all of my plugins and see if I can narrow down the problem.

    Hi,

    This may be because of a plugin/theme conflict. Can you do a conflict test and see if the issue goes away? This doc explains how to do a conflict test if you are not sure: How to do a plugin/theme conflict test?
