  • Sorry for the late reply.

Ok, I see two possible culprits in there:

Please delete the “hide-login” folder, try again.
If that doesn’t work delete the “lockdown …” folder, and try again.

wow thanks! i just logged in, but i just want to ask i deleted the hide-login file and the lockdown file would it affect my site and data in any way. Thanks a lot i logged in and my site is running on V.3.8.1 but in my web host it still runs on 3.3 what can i do.

sorry i asked the first question because we changed to wecyclers.com/wecycers200 instead of wecyclers.com/wp-admin for security reasons

Glad you could finally access the admin area.

Both the hide-login and the lockdown plugins can be easily re-installed:

Regarding the mess you describe, with two different WordPress sites running two different WP versions, and security plugins with redirects, I would advise you to really get the help of a professional, as it looks as if you’re going to have to migrate or merge sites, and that involves tampering with MySQL databases and some expertise.

Unfortunately I’m very busy at the moment, and can’t think of anyone either, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to find someone to do the job. Just make sure they know what they’re doing.

    Good luck!
