• I have a small problem with my admin panel. So the problem started after migration to another hosting service. Company did for me whole migration, so I didn’t touch anything, howerver I feel comftable with editing sql at phpmyadmin. After migration, everything looks fine untill I login to my admin panel.

Basically everything works really fine, there is no issue with general access. I can edit website bla bla… and use all features from dashboard. But log in gives me error page after I type login and admin password I receive really common error “TOO MANY REDIRETS”. After i manually add to /wp-admin/index.php I have full access and I can do everything with my dashboard. So its not a huge problem but, its small disturbing thing. Admin panel works only after manual change of the permaling to /wp-admin/index.php. Naturally rewrite_mod works fine on Apache, after deleting .htaaccess my wp generate new one without any problems, so also here no issue with that, but why i need to add index.php to adminpanel. This issue show up only with admin panel. Any pages are not affected with this problem.

I tried everything from troubleshooting page on www.ads-software.com, also on other forums read what to do. Deactivated plugins and theme, reinstall again, nothing help me with this issue, also adding some lines of code to wp-conf or htaccess also wp-loign. Nothing help and nothing work to fix this issue. Hosting company recommends me to reinstall whole wordpress, however i will loose my webiste template which took a lot of time to edit, I have purchased woodmart template.

  • Hello, ksawus, & welcome.

It works for me, which suggests to me that the problem is a caching issue. Please clear your browser cache, as well as any caching you’re doing on your server, & let’s see if that doesn’t help.
