I can’t get the matches to show on the admin match page. I’ve tried disabling other plugins and using the default theme.

Debug errors that are related to the plugin:

Notice: Undefined variable: success in /wp-content/plugins/football-pool/admin/class-football-pool-admin-games.php on line 609

Notice: Undefined variable: success in /wp-content/plugins/football-pool/admin/class-football-pool-admin-games.php on line 611

The notices come from the update method of that class. A minor thing I will fix in the next version and not related to your problem.

What method did you use to add matches?
And did you check the database if there are any rows in the pool_wp_matches table?

I’ve added the matches using the ‘add new’ on the admin match page. I’ve just check the database and there is rows in the pool_wp_matches so the matches are there and when I export the game schedule they show on the CSV file. They just don’t show on the admin page and also on the matches page I’ve set using the plugin options.

Are they in a match type that is set “invisible”?

If not, I can have a look at your settings if you grant me temp access to your install. Mail address is at the end of the help page.

Are they in a match type that is set “invisible”? Yes, all sorted now and I feel like an idiot, thanks for your help.
