    Hi @mohammedbhorania,

Thanks for your message and your screenshot. This looks very strange, certainly not normal.

There are a couple of possibilities here I believe.

Firstly, can you please try clicking “Restore to default WordPress menu” and see if the menu items appear?

If that doesn’t work, it suggests the issue might be a plugin conflict. Can you please try disabling all other plugins and then trying the menu editor, and then slowly activate plugins one by one until the issue occurs and that can help isolate the plugin responsible. This issue could also be with your theme so please also try a standard WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty or something like that.

If the issue persists, it would be helpful if you could provide me with more info. Please go to the “Help” menu item of our plugin, and click “Diagnostic Information” and paste that in your reply. Also on your admin menu edit page, please see if there are any javascript console errors. For more information on how to view javascript console errors, please see: https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/

    Thanks,

Having the exact same issue here. Using it in a lot of sites without any problem, but with a new install it displays an empty Admin Menu page.

Tried uninstalling all plugins, with no result.

    Hi @hdebruyne,

Have you tried changing the theme to see if that works?
Also are your other sites where the plugin is working, are they on PHP 8?

Do you see any javascript console errors?

    Thanks,

I tried different themes. Also, using the same theme at another site where the plugin works correctly. All my websites are running on the same server on PHP 8.0.

    Hi @hdebruyne,

Unfortunately my support is limited on this forum so we can’t exchange logins on this forum. It looks like the issue is with javascript. It’s possible the menu might have gotten malformed. Can you try perhaps deleting the settings for the custom menu. So try going to in the main menu: Custom Admin Interface > Manage Settings. Click on “Delete Plugin Settings” and then select “Admin Menu” in the checkboxes, and then click the “Delete Settings” button and then go back to the admin menu page.

    Thanks,

    Unfortunately, that doesn’t help.

    Hi @hdebruyne,

I am really sorry, I am not sure what the issue might be in this instance. Deleting the settings should normally give you a fresh slate to work from. There could possibly be a conflict with a specific plugin. So you could try deactivating all other plugins and seeing if that resolves the issue and then slowly activate the plugins to see which one stuffs things up.

Other than this, I do recommend checking out the pro version. The pro version is a total rewrite of the free version, there’s no shared code and it’s more modern, so it’s possible the pro version might work better out of the box for your site. It also comes with a money-back guarantee if it doesn’t work, so if it also has an issue you won’t be any worse for wear. The pro version also has extended support for issues like this.

    Thanks

Hi, I figured it out… For some reason disabling WooCommerce solves the issue. Don’t know why, I have many sites with both Woo and Admin Menu working fine.

What I did: disable WooCommerce, then configure an Admin Menu. After that you can re-enable WooCommerce and the Admin Menu keeps working, and also stays configurable. If you need WooCommerce items in the menu, you can add them manually by copying the links into the menu.

    Hi @hdebruyne,

Ok how interesting, I am totally bewildered why the conflict would be with WooCommerce, because yea I use the plugin with WooCommerce all the time without issue. I am glad to hear you got to the bottom of it and hopefully this helps others as well ??

    Hi !

Thank you @hdebruyne ! The same for me, and disable/enable Woocommerce solves the issue.

    Have a nice day.

I installed the plugin on a new site and I also have the same problem. I tried to dial woocommerce but the problem persists!

    Hi @mohammedbhorania,

I glad to hear the issue has been resolved. Thanks

    Hi

Plugin doesn’t work with woocommerce atm.

It used to work as I had it on non updated website.

This issue still occurs in version 7.36?(and Woo 8.9.3). Might be worth looking into @northernbeacheswebsites as it is a major complication when using your plugin.

    Regards!
