Admin NAG notices are not dismissible

    Hello!

    I was examining your plugin (I got a complaint) and on my test setup the admin nag notices can’t be dismissed.

    That is a violation of the plugin guidelines. Can you please make it so the X in the top right corner works?

    Right now it only works for that page. When I visit any other admin page or reload the one I am on, the nag notice comes back.

    None of those options are appealing to me.

    1. I don’t want to say thanks.
    2. I don’t want to postpone it.
    3. I don’t want to lie and say I did when I wont.

    OK, we can change the button text from ‘Already done’ to ‘Dismiss’.
    Is there any other similar issues?

    P.S. Why we don’t get notification about the new posts here?

    No.

    Use the X in the corner, that’s what it is there for. I am not looking for anything except an admin notice that can be dismissed as required by the plugin guidelines.

    P.S. Why we don’t get notification about the new posts here?

    According to paragraph 11 of Detailed Plugin Guidelines our notice is dismissible (as it already was). There is no any further point how it can be done, so we follow the rules.

    We respect you notice about ‘Already done’ button – it is really can be interpreted in several ways so we changed it to ‘Dismiss’ in 2.9.4 version.

    The X button is used to temporary hide the message due to user may want to see it in the future – it is legal case. So we implemented it it such way.

    Corrected starting with 2.9.9 version.
