• my admin email address is not receiving emails when new users sign up
(emails are being sent to new user)
admin is also not receiving comment notification emails either
the email address works fine outside of wordpress
it may be to do with the template being used, instant qa
as it did work using another template
and i also had to manually configure the template functions.php file to get emails to be sent correctly (from my domain not my host)
but i cannot find anything relating to emails being sent to admin in the templates functions.php file and i have searched through the templates other files and found nothing, would i need to manually configure WP default files ? if so where and what files ?

i have already tried using SMTP instead of phpmailer but i get same results, also tried using [email protected] and also checked table in phpmyadmin, and every other solution attempt i could find online

    any ideas anyone ?

  • Are you sure that mail() is enabled in php.ini? I had similar issue and it turned out it was mail() issue and now I must live with it, because my site is now too advanced to move it around.

it should be as the emails are sent when i change template back to twentyten

how would i double check ?

hm… if e-mails are sent on twentyten, mail() most certain IS enabled. Now I think it may be bug in template itself. What template are you using?
